The English-speaking Dota 2 community has shared their thoughts on the Grand Final of The International 2026 on their personal social media accounts.
Team Liquid’s Technical Director Ben “Noxville” Stenhuysen shared that he wanted to see PARIVISION emerge as the winner:
What a spectacular final! I would have loved to see No[o]ne- win TI (and Puppey lift the Aegis again), but I’m really happy for Team Spirit (especially Yatoro and Collapse—they’re simply the best).
Former pro player Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp noted the significance of Team Spirit’s roster in Dota 2 history:
Miposhka and his roster are the most dominant team of all time and will likely remain so.
Thanks to all the teams and talents who worked at TI 2026 for a fantastic show.
Special shout-out to Quinn—it’s great to see you smiling. And Fogged! You can tell from his commentary that he lives and breathes Dota 2!
Last year’s champion and Team Falcons player Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf shared that he saw Alexey “not me” Kosmyinin’s potential long before The International 2026:
not me from Yellow Submarine pulled it off. I knew he had potential when he was a substitute on that team—I got that familiar feeling inside, just like I did with Creepwave.
Former esports coach Filipe “Astini” Astini Ribeiro highlighted the outstanding performance of every player in the grand final:
An epic final. Everyone proved that they truly deserved to be there. Only one team can win, but every player should be damn proud of the games they played.
Team Nemesis coach Leon Lee “Arthur” Wei Yip highlighted the impact of Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov’s drafts on the match’s outcome:
Miposhka knows how to win TI.
Picking Bane as the first pick in Game 5... The hero came out of nowhere; the drafter understands just how strong this character is in an anti-carry strategy. Everything comes down to the situation between the king and the prince.
Bane disrupts it, just like Doom, who was in the ban.
Streamer Felipe “NS-ART” Costa congratulated the three-time champions of The International:
Team Spirit—the great champions of The International 2026!
Yatoro and Collapse are lifting the champions’ Aegis for the third time! What a journey, guys—what an incredible, epic final (3-2)—congratulations to Team Spirit!
Earlier, Team Spirit carry Ilya Mulyarchuk took the stage at The International 2026 after a 3–2 victory over PARIVISION and spoke about his goals for future tournaments in the series: “This is just incredible... I hope I’ll win one or two more times.”
