One of the teams was robbed right in the middle of a match at the 2026 Esports World Cup. A person without a badge somehow managed to sneak backstage and steal items from the room where the players had left their bags, passports, money, and other valuables!
The Counter-Strike 2 playoffs for the Esports World Cup 2026 are taking place August 19–23 in Paris. Matches on August 19–22 will take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, while the final day of competition will be held at the Accor Arena. Currently, G2 Esports is playing against Astralis, and FUT Esports is playing against magic.
