A way to speed up silent reloading has been discovered in CS2
A user going by the nickname Aaron on social media platform X revealed a method to speed up silent reloading in Counter-Strike 2 and explained how the mechanic works.
I just figured out how to make the most of silent reload!
Double-tap R, then hold the key down: this speeds up the silent part of the animation by about 0.3 seconds, after which—just as the sound is about to play—the reload continues silently.
I don’t think it’s particularly useful—it’s just fun that this option exists at all.
Earlier, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2 that added the ability to reload weapons silently by holding down the corresponding key. In addition, the developers revamped the map selection in Premier, added Rush mode, and made a number of other changes.
