Team Yandex offlaner Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf criticized himself on his Telegram channel after losing to Team Spirit in the PARI UNIVERSE by FISSURE Grand Final.
I’m a terrible player who doesn’t know how to play Dota. My last pick—I lost the lane. I hope I die in real life. The worst player of all time, a useless, brainless idiot.
Team Yandex lost to Team Spirit in the grand final with a score of 0–3. On the first and third maps, Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf’s heroes—Legion Commander and Viper—were the team’s last picks. The offlaner finished those maps with stats of 2/9/6 and 7/14/12, respectively.
PARI UNIVERSE by FISSURE was an online Dota 2 tournament held from October 22 to November 1. ATF missed the first few matches due to health issues and was replaced by Andreas “Xibbe” Ragnemalm. Team Yandex took first place in Group A and advanced to the grand final through the upper bracket, earning $50,000 for second place. In September and October, the team—with Ammar on the roster—won PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST SLAM VIII, and even during the second tournament, the offlaner remarked that Team Yandex plays worse online.
