Team Liquid defeated Aurora Gaming and advanced to the upper bracket semifinals of Group B at IEM Beijing 2026
Team Liquid defeated Aurora Gaming 2-0 in a first-round Group B match at Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026.
The match began on Inferno, which Team Liquid selected; the team won 13–3. On Anubis, Aurora Gaming’s pick, Team Liquid once again proved stronger, winning 13–4.
As a result, Team Liquid advanced to the Group B upper bracket semifinals, where they will face the winner of the PARIVISION vs. G2 Esports match on November 3. Aurora Gaming dropped to the lower bracket and will face the loser of that matchup: the team that loses this match will finish IEM Beijing 2026 in 13th–16th place.
A week ago, both teams competed at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. Team Liquid failed to advance out of the group stage, while Aurora Gaming reached the quarterfinals, where they lost to MOUZ 0–2.
