FURIA defeated FaZe Clan and advanced to the upper bracket semifinals of Group A at IEM Beijing 2026
FURIA defeated FaZe Clan 2-1 in a Group A first-round match at Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026.
The match began on Ancient, which FaZe Clan had picked. FURIA won the first half 10–2, but in the second half, they took only one round and lost 11–13. On their map pick, Dust2, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s team evened the series (13–5), and on the decisive map, Cache, they won 13–4.
As a result, FURIA advanced to the Group A upper bracket semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Natus Vincere vs. Team Falcons match on November 3. FaZe Clan has dropped to the lower bracket and will face the loser of that match: the team that loses this match will finish IEM Beijing 2026 in 13th–16th place.
FURIA arrived at IEM Beijing 2026 as the reigning champion of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026: on October 31, the team defeated Nemiga Gaming 3–2 in the final. In October, FaZe Clan won the Roman Imperium Cup IX, defeating Natus Vincere Junior 2–0 in the final.
