BetBoom Team defeated 9z Team and advanced to the upper bracket semifinals of Group B at IEM Beijing 2026
BetBoom Team defeated 9z Team 2-1 in a first-round Group B match at Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026.
The match began on Dust2, which 9z Team had selected, and they won that map 13–8. BetBoom Team evened the series on their pick, Ancient (13–7), and won the decisive map, Mirage, 13–9.
As a result, BetBoom Team advanced to the Group B upper bracket semifinals, where they will face the winner of the MOUZ vs. TYLOO match on November 3. 9z Team dropped to the lower bracket and will face the loser of that matchup: the team that loses this match will finish IEM Beijing 2026 in 13th–16th place.
In October, BetBoom Team reached the grand final of the Thunderpick World Championship 2026, where they lost to FURIA 2–3. A week ago at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, the team lost to FURIA again, this time in the quarterfinals.
