Legacy captain Andrei “arT” Piovesan, in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026, assessed his team’s map pool and shared his thoughts on Team Spirit.
On the team’s map pool
We had some minor issues with that, especially at the start of the season, since we made significant changes to the roster. But throughout the tournament, we discussed it and spent quite a bit of time working on improvements. So now we feel more confident.
On Team Spirit
I’ve watched them a lot, including donk’s highlights, so I understand how they play and what they prefer to do during a match. However, it’s tough to play against that kind of firepower.
On Legacy’s Goals
We’ve gained more confidence in ourselves, but at the same time, expectations are higher now, too. We still have goals we want to strive for.

Earlier, Legacy lost to Team Spirit in the semifinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup for CS2. Right now, Andrei “arT” Piovessan’s team is playing against FURIA in the third-place match. At the moment, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s team leads 1–0 in maps.
