beastik on being eliminated from the IEM Cologne Major: “This feels even worse than failing to qualify.”

SINNERS Esports captain Sebastian “beastik” Dano stated in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 that he is taking the elimination from the tournament even harder than a potential failure to qualify for the event.
On the match on Inferno against TYLOO
In my opinion, we weren’t able to play the way we wanted to on the attack. It seemed like they knew what we were going to do. So either they prepared really well, or our calls were too obvious—I don’t know. It felt like we were playing every round at a disadvantage.
On the emotions after the loss
Overall, this feels even worse than not making it through qualifiers. I ended up here after six and a half years of hard work, and we went 0-3 and didn’t show anything at all. So I would have preferred not to qualify at all rather than play like this.
Earlier, SINNERS Esports lost to TYLOO in the first stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and finished the tournament in 15th–16th place. On the first map, Ancient, the team lost to the Chinese squad 14–16, and on Inferno, 10–13.
