BetBoom Team’s CS2 captain Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov shared his thoughts in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 following their victory over The MongolZ and assessed his team’s progress.
On the victory over The MongolZ
The match was very tough. We were ready for Dust2 and Mirage, but we didn’t really expect Ancient to be the decider. Our team gave up a few key rounds on the third map, while The MongolZ built up their economy and won a couple of clutch situations with just two devices. Nevertheless, we won. It was incredible.

Our team is improving every day. Right now, we’re training a lot with our stand-in. Of course, it’s hard to play structured CS under these conditions. However, we continue to work hard. That’s all.
