Commemorative trophies for the IEM Cologne Major 2026 have been added to Counter-Strike 2

Valve has awarded participants in the IEM Cologne Major 2026 commemorative in-game trophies for their performance at the tournament. The awards appeared in the esports players’ inventories following the release of the latest Counter-Strike 2 update.
The main gold trophies, engraved with the players’ names, were awarded to Team Falcons, who won the Major. Silver commemorative cups were awarded to FURIA, Team Spirit, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, Aurora Gaming, BetBoom Team, and 9z Team, all of whom advanced to the playoffs.
Finn “karrigan” Andersen also received the championship trophy for winning the IEM Cologne Major 2026, having joined Team Falcons after the tournament roster had already been finalized. However, the champion sticker was previously awarded to former Team Falcons captain Damian “kyxsan” Stoilkovski, as he was on the roster at the time the Major lineup was confirmed.
Earlier, Valve released a major update for Counter-Strike 2, which officially kicked off the fifth season of Premier mode. Along with this, the developers revamped the C4 detonation mechanics, added new weapon and sticker collections, and made a number of changes to performance and the game engine.
