Valve has released a Counter-Strike 2 update that fixes the new C4 detonation mechanics, makes changes to stickers and seasonal medals, and addresses several technical issues while improving the game’s stability.

List of Changes

Gameplay

  • Removed the minimum guaranteed damage of one point from new C4 explosions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused damage from new C4 explosions to be calculated incorrectly near the boundaries of various map areas.
  • New C4 explosions now knock thrown weapons farther away.

Arsenal

  • Adjusted the visibility of the “Sniper Ahead” sticker after it has been scraped off.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a bug that caused one of the seasonal medal bars to lack a gold tint.
  • Fixed a bug where the scoreboard did not update when it was opened.
  • Various stability improvements have been made.

Previously, Valve released a major update for Counter-Strike 2, which overhauled the C4 detonation mechanics, added new weapon and sticker collections, updated community maps, and introduced changes to performance, the engine, and Workshop tools.
