Counter-Strike 2 Update from May 29, 2026: Bookmarks for IEM Cologne Major 2026 stickers and changes to Ancient

On the night of May 29, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2. The developers added the ability to save stickers to bookmarks in the IEM Cologne Major 2026 store, made changes to how the blinding effect is displayed for spectators, and updated the Ancient and Sanctum maps.

IEM Cologne Major 2026
- Added the ability to add stickers to bookmarks in the IEM Cologne Major 2026 store.
Miscellaneous
- Added the console variable r_spectator_flashbang_opacity, allowing you to adjust the opacity of the flashbang effect for remote spectators;
- The flashbang’s blinding effect for remote spectators now appears below the HUD;
- Game stability has been improved.

- The map has been updated to the latest version from the Steam Workshop.
Previously, the developers of Counter-Strike 2 released an update ahead of the IEM Cologne Major 2026. They added a tournament pass and player stickers to the game, enabled the use of souvenir items in trade contracts, and fixed a number of in-game bugs.
