On October 29, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2 that added the option to choose how to activate silent reload and fixed several bugs related to sound, the user interface, and liquid rendering on AMD graphics cards.
List of Changes
Gameplay
- Added the ability to choose between two silent reload modes: “Hold” and “Toggle.” When “Toggle” mode is enabled, you can release the reload button after starting silent reload. To cancel silent reload and return to fast reload, simply press the reload button again.
- Fixed various instances where the first reload sound was heard regardless of whether the player had initiated silent reloading.
Miscellaneous
- Fixed a bug that caused liquid to appear black on AMD graphics cards.
- Fixed some audio and UI bugs that occurred when fast-forwarding while watching a demo.
The previous Counter-Strike 2 update was released on October 23. In it, the developers made changes to map scripting and fixed critical bugs that caused the game client to crash.
