Counter-Strike 2 Update from October 3, 2026: Bug fixes and stability improvements
On the night of October 3, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2 that fixed various bugs, corrected the grenade sight display, and improved the stability of the game client.

- Agents now wear their equipped gloves during photo sessions and in the buy menu.
- Fixed the grenade crosshair display, which was 3 pixels thick.
- Fixed the formatting of titles in the “Praise” and “Complaint” sections.
- Improved lighting in the “Warehouse” location.
- Updated the whitelist of variables for the Workshop to account for the new crosshair settings.
- Game stability has been improved.
The previous Counter-Strike 2 update was released on October 1—as part of that update, the developers fixed various texture overlay issues on maps in the new “Assault” mode and made changes to the crosshair settings.
