On the evening of October 30, Valve released a technical update for Counter-Strike 2. The developers removed files from the game related to the model, textures, and the full range of animations for the Lar rifle, updated the interface localization for several languages, and completely rewrote the soundevents configuration files for all existing music packs.
The previous Counter-Strike 2 update was released on October 23. Overnight, the developers released a patch that included changes to map scripting and fixed several critical bugs that were causing the game client to crash.
