Inner Circle rifler Arseniy “cptkurtka023” In an interview at BLAST Open Porto 2026, Derevinsky discussed the match against MOUZ, preparations for the game against FUT Esports, and the team’s transition from an aggressive style to a more structured game.
On the match against MOUZ
They were not just one, but two steps ahead of us. They simply controlled both maps, constantly pressured us, and eliminated us. We couldn’t punish them for their aggressive playstyle. On Ancient, they actually changed their positioning, and that caught us a little off guard. We didn’t expect that. And because of that, we weren’t able to… Not that it was solely because of that, but in any case, we weren’t able to adjust our game plan.
On the match against FUT Esports
We’ll try to catch them off guard. FUT Esports is one of those teams that always plays proactively and very aggressively; I’d say they’re very interesting to watch. FUT Esports players play on the offensive, and we’ll try to punish them for that.
On the team’s playing style
Personally, I like to play more aggressively. But I think that lately our team has been trying to be more structured, because we never used to play that way. We always played very aggressively, but now we’re trying to be more structured and play at a slower pace than before.
On the transition to a more structured style of play
It’s tough for us because we’re not fully prepared or experienced in this style. We need to gain experience and play more structured CS, and I think time will help us.
Earlier, Inner Circle lost to MOUZ 0–2 in maps during the group stage of the BLAST Open Porto 2026. Right now, Arseniy “cptkurtka023” Derevinsky’s team is battling FUT Esports for the right to stay in the tournament.
