Esport Academy Copenhagen parted ways with Maze

The esports organization Esport Academy Copenhagen announced on its official page on social media platform X that Mikkel “Maze” Sparvat has left the team.
Thank you, Maze.
Today we say goodbye to a player who meant far more to EAC than can be measured by server statistics.
Over the past six months, Maze has become one of the key figures in our project. His dedication, professionalism, and relentless drive for improvement have helped shape the identity of this team. No matter what the challenges were, he always approached them with the same determination and willingness to give his all for the club’s crest.
His influence extended far beyond his personal results. Maze consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, setting the standard for those around him through both his actions and his attitude. He motivated his teammates to become better, led by example, and played a huge role in shaping the culture that defines EAC today.
Together, we created countless memories across Europe. During his time with our organization, Maze represented EAC at an impressive 12 LAN tournaments, proudly defending our colors across the continent. Among many memorable moments, his victory at the Parken Challenger Championship #4 stands out as a significant part of our shared history.
Achievements and results are only part of this story. Most of all, we will remember the person behind the nickname: his dedication to the cause, loyalty to the team, passion for the game, and the countless hours invested in the development of EAC.
We are incredibly proud that a player of his caliber represented our organization. Although our paths are now parting ways, the respect and gratitude we feel for him will remain unchanged.
Thank you for everything you’ve done for EAC—both on the server and beyond.
We wish you nothing but success in the next stage of your career. Any team would be lucky to have a player and a person like him. Maze is open to offers from any teams, but we believe you need to act fast!
Once an EAC, always an EAC.
Good luck, Maze.
