G2 Esports sniper Artem “r1nkle” Moroz, in an interview at BLAST Open Porto 2026, assessed the recent match against Aurora Gaming, discussed his performance on the Tier 1 stage, and explained why he has been taking the initiative more often during games.
On this map, the momentum constantly shifted from one team to the other. In my opinion, our opponents played well and managed to disrupt our plans in several rounds. At one point, they staged a small comeback, but in the end, we played well on Inferno. We’re now on a three-game winning streak on this map.
I really like it. I take this opportunity extremely seriously. After spending some time on the bench, I’m working hard now. I think it’s paying off, so I’ll keep it up.
It just happens naturally—that’s my playstyle. I used to call a lot before, then I stopped, but now I’m back to it.
Earlier, G2 Esports defeated Aurora Gaming 2-1 at the BLAST Open Porto 2026. Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač’s team lost on Anubis (7–13), then took Inferno in overtime (19–16) and crushed their opponent on Mirage (13–1). As a result of the match, Aurora Gaming was eliminated from the tournament.
