FalleN: “I think molodoy has already adapted to the realities of the Tier 1 scene. He’s performing better now than he did before.”

FURIA captain Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo shared his thoughts on the BetBoom Team roster and his team’s victory over MOUZ in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026, and also commented on the progress of Danil “molodoy” Golubenko.
On BetBoom Team
They’re a very good team. Even though they’re currently playing with two stand-ins, they’re managing to put on an excellent performance. Sometimes it happens that you bring new people into the roster, and everything just clicks right away. It seems to me that BetBoom Team has found its recipe for success.
On the victory over MOUZ
The match turned out great. Each team crushed their opponent on the other’s pick. I remember walking up to xertioN during the break and saying, “I think we picked the wrong maps.” Then Overpass started, where we got off to a great start on defense. I think both teams had a chance to win at the end of the match, but our 8-round lead at the end of the first half made the difference.
About molodoy
When he first joined the team, he barely spoke English and played mostly by instinct. molodoy achieved great success in the second half of 2025, when we won four trophies. After that, opponents began to realize just how dangerous he is and how he likes to play. Because of this, he had to rethink his approach to CS. I think molodoy has already adapted to the realities of the Tier 1 scene. He’s performing better now than he did before.
FURIA defeated BetBoom Team 2-0 in the third stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026. Thanks to this victory, FalleN’s team advanced to the tournament’s playoffs. It is still unknown who the “Panthers” will face in the Major quarterfinals.
