Fnatic will replace B8 Esports in Stake Ranked Episode 5
Tournament operator StarLadder announced that Fnatic will replace B8 Esports at Stake Ranked Episode 5. The official announcement was made on the tournament’s page on X.
B8 Esports withdrew from the main stage of the tournament due to scheduling conflicts. According to Valve’s rules, Fnatic will take its place.
It should be noted that B8 will also be unable to compete in Stake Ranked Episode 6, as the decision to withdraw from the event was made after their participation had already been confirmed.
Yesterday, Fnatic lost to Astralis in a lower bracket match at Stake Ranked Episode 4 with a score of 0–2 (6–13 on Dust2 and 3–13 on Ancient). Rodion “fear” Smyk’s team finished the tournament in 4th place, earning $11,000.
