FURIA defeated paiN Gaming in their first match at BLAST Open Porto 2026 in CS2

FURIA proved to be the stronger team, sweeping paiN Gaming in their debut match at the BLAST Open Porto 2026 Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

FURIA dominated the first map, Mirage, with a lopsided 13-2 score, and followed up with a 13-6 victory on Cache.

As a result, FURIA advanced and will face M80 in the upper bracket semifinals, while paiN Gaming dropped to the lower bracket.

BLAST Open Porto 2026 runs from August 26 to September 6. The group stage of the tournament is being held in Copenhagen, while the playoffs will take place in Porto at the Super Bock Arena. Sixteen teams are competing for the championship title and a $1,100,000 prize pool.
