9z Team rifler Matias “HUASOPEEK” Hernandez took to social media platform X to comment after his team’s elimination from the BLAST Open Porto 2026.
It’s a shame we weren’t able to turn things around at this tournament. I know we’ll keep working and fixing whatever needs to be fixed to become the team we were before the break again.
In a week, we’ll head to China, where we’ll compete in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 3 — CS and show what we’re truly capable of.
Earlier, 9z Team lost to Team Vitality during the group stage of the BLAST Open Porto 2026. On Dust2, the South American team suffered a crushing 2–13 defeat, and on Nuke, they were also unable to put up a fight, losing 6–13. As a result, the team finished the tournament in 13th–16th place.
