The esports organization IC Esports reported on its X page that the acidhouze team engaged in unfair play during the open qualifiers for PGL Bucharest 2027.
Yesterday, our academy participated in the open qualifiers for PGL Bucharest 2027, where we faced the acidhouze team, which used a radar hack. During the match, we asked the players to leave the server so that the cheaters could not profit from betting.
We stand for fair play. We ask PGL to investigate this situation and take action—to void the match results and disqualify acidhouze from the qualifiers.
It should be noted that we are not the only ones who noticed suspicious activity on the part of acidhouze. Several other teams also confirm that they used cheats. Please take action!
It is known that, as a result of the loss, IC Academy lost 40 VRS points and finished the qualifiers in 9th–16th place. Tournament operator PGL has not yet commented on the situation.
Earlier, PGL released a list of teams that received invites to PGL Bucharest 2027—including Team Spirit, Team Vitality, Team Falcons, MOUZ, and FURIA. The tournament will take place from January 17 to 24 in Romania, with a prize pool of $1,000,000.
