ivz on ShindeN: “We want to qualify for the Major in Buenos Aires and consistently compete in big tournaments.”
ShindeN’s marksman, Ivan “ivz” Quintana, spoke in an interview at ESL Pro League Season 24 about participating in this tournament, shared his expectations for the match against Team Spirit, and outlined his team’s main goals.
About ShindeN
We’re a close-knit team from Argentina. We have high expectations for such a major tournament. The conditions here are excellent. This is our first time playing against Tier 1 teams. We’re excited to be here.
On the match against Team Spirit
We’re definitely in for a tough match. We’ve never faced a Tier 1 team from Europe before. This match will give us a lot of experience and help us improve our game. We’ll do our best to give it our all, and hopefully we’ll be able to secure a victory over Spirit.
On the team’s goals
We want to qualify for the Major in Buenos Aires and consistently participate in major tournaments. These events allow us to gain a lot of experience playing against Tier 1 teams, which will definitely lay the groundwork for our future progress. I hope we’ll be able to qualify for the home Major.
ShindeN qualified for ESL Pro League Season 24 in May of this year by defeating Imperial Esports in the final of the South American regional qualifiers. The team is currently ranked 74th in the VRS world rankings.
