Astralis rifler Jakob “jabbi” Nygård, in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, shared his thoughts after the match against Team Nemesis, talked about his team’s training, and commented on the team’s new coach, Filip “NEO” Kubski.

On the match against Team Nemesis

It’s always great to be at boot camp when you’re playing official matches. I think this game was tough at the start, especially on Nuke. We didn’t do what we were supposed to. But we were able to pull it together on Ancient and Cache. Cache is still a new map, but I think we handled it well.

On Cache

We focused on it and practiced this map for quite a while. To be honest, we worked on it the most.

About NEO

NEO is a very calm and smart guy. He has his own perspective on the game, so he calls out what we can do in various situations.

Earlier, Astralis defeated Team Nemesis 2–1 in maps—11–13 on Nuke, 13–10 on Ancient, and 13–7 on Cache. As a result, Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s team advanced, while the Russian team finished the tournament in 17th–32nd place.
