Aurora Gaming captain Damian “kyxsan” Stoilkovski spoke in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 about settling into his new team, as well as reflecting on teamwork and his return to the pro scene.
On settling in at Aurora Gaming
The adjustment is going great. I was pleasantly surprised that my teammates speak English quite well. The guys are ready to work hard and improve—that’s what matters most to me. I’m thrilled with the team.
On working within the team
There have been a lot of changes on the team. Right now, we’re working, preparing for matches, and playing in a completely different way. I’m in charge of the offense, while ash brings a lot of ideas to the defense. XANTARES is also very active and has good CS vision. We didn’t have much time to prepare for the tournament, so we’re just trying to figure things out as we go. I think our gameplay will become more structured in the future.
On Returning to the Pro Scene
I really missed tournaments, so I’m glad to be back on the pro scene. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve with this roster.
Earlier, Aurora Gaming announced the signing of kyxsan as captain of its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The revamped team is currently battling FOKUS for a spot in the second round of the online stage of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026.
