FOKUS captain Erik “ztr” Gustafsson, in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, discussed his team’s gameplay, commented on Team Liquid sniper Georgi “Jorko” Mitev, and shared his expectations for the match against Aurora Gaming.
On playing for FOKUS
What attracted me most to this team was the opportunity to work with kuben. He helps me improve and shows me a different perspective on CS. I also enjoy playing with my teammates. Now, with the arrival of the new guys, I think we’ve gotten stronger in certain areas. I’m really happy to be playing with jocab and podi.
About Jorko
I think Jorko deserves some credit. He performed exceptionally well while playing on our team. I’ll be interested to see how he does with Team Liquid.
On the match against Aurora Gaming
When we saw our opponents, we noticed one interesting thing. Today, kyxsan will be playing against his former coach, kuben, and I’ll be facing ash, under whose guidance I spent 1.5 years at GamerLegion. Of course, we didn’t dwell on it too much, but we’re definitely in for an interesting battle on the server.
FOKUS is currently playing against Aurora Gaming as part of the online stage of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. If they win, the team will be one step away from advancing to the LAN stage of the championship, which will take place from July 30 to August 2 in Malta.
