Lobanjica questioned the authenticity of Counter-Strike 2’s online scene

Streamer Nikola “Lobanjica” Mijomanović pointed out that Counter-Strike 2 had reached one million concurrent players at a time when the Premier mode was unavailable. According to the content creator, a significant portion of active users may be bots.
1 million players are currently playing CS2. 50,000 are on FACEIT. Premier mode has been disabled for 48 hours (the numbers haven’t even budged). Yep, they’re all having fun in “Casual Mode” and “Deathmatch” because they love the game. Oh, right—isn’t “Deathmatch” mode full of bots? Of course, the game isn’t 90% bot farms.
Earlier, on July 6, the fourth Premier season in Counter-Strike 2 came to an end. Tonight, with the release of a major update, Valve launched the fifth season of the game mode. The developers also updated the Premier map pool: Cache has replaced Overpass.
