Luken became a free agent

Argentine player Luca “Luken” Nadotti announced the end of his partnership with Gaimin Gladiators and stated that he is now a free agent. The former member of the club’s Counter-Strike 2 roster shared this news on his X page.

At the beginning of the year, I made a decision that was very difficult for me. When I joined this organization, my intentions were the same as they are with every team I represent: to take it to the highest possible level. I felt that this project needed time, and as part of that process, we managed to achieve our main short-term goal—qualifying for a Major.

Unfortunately, following the changes Valve made regarding stickers, the organization concluded that the project is no longer profitable and that it is impossible to keep the team together. There are things we simply can’t control. The idea was always to rebuild the team, continue developing the project, and strive for even higher goals. Together with GG, we tried to build something meaningful, and I’m very grateful to them for that, because they always treated me with the utmost respect, and right up until the very last day, we were moving in the same direction.

Unfortunately, circumstances didn’t allow us to continue. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the players and the coaching staff for all the moments we shared. If I were still with GG today and could have fulfilled my contract in full by continuing to play, I would have been happy to do so. As I’ve already said, they treated me with the utmost respect, but reality turned out to be different. Like anyone else, I make mistakes too. Today, my conscience is clear.

I will continue to focus entirely on the game and would like to build a project based on mutual trust, where we can achieve our goals. I can adapt and play virtually any role on the field. Of course, I have my preferences, which I’ll discuss with a specific team, but right now I’m open to offers.

I know I still possess the caliber needed to compete at the highest level, and I can still contribute a great deal to any team that believes in me. I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and English. I have just as much desire to compete as I did on day one. A big hello and thank you, as always, to those who support me—and to those who don’t, too.

Luca “Luken” Nadotti joined the Gaimin Gladiators’ Counter-Strike 2 roster in January 2026. In June, the Canadian organization benched the entire roster and put the players on the transfer list.
