Luminosity Gaming has returned to Counter-Strike by acquiring the core players Monte and lux

The Canadian esports organization Luminosity Gaming has announced its return to Counter-Strike 2 by signing a revamped roster. The roster announcement was posted on the club’s official website.
Luminosity has signed kor Monte and captain lux, and founder Steve Maida is fulfilling a long-standing promise to bring Luminosity Gaming back to where it all began—Luminosity Gaming is returning to Counter-Strike.
Luminosity Gaming’s new roster is as follows:
- Lucas “lux” Meneghini
- Aurélien “afro” Drapier
- Oscar “AZUWU” Bell
- Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras
- Alex “Rainwaker” Petrov
Luminosity Gaming competed in Counter-Strike until July 2019, when the organization parted ways with its existing roster and suspended its participation in the discipline. The revamped roster will make its debut today at the XSE Pro League 2026 tournament.
