This season, FURIA had to win FISSURE PLAYGROUND 3 — CS. Here, the team could have maintained its status as the squad that separates the elite from the rest, but now it’s losing to rivals who also can’t be considered among the best. Even though G2 Esports and Legacy are finding their form, it was precisely at this tournament that FURIA needed to prove it was a cut above the rest.
Earlier, FURIA ended its run at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 3 — CS after losing to G2 Esports 0–2 in the event’s quarterfinals. At the end of the tournament, molodoy and YEKINDAR’s team finished in 5th–6th place and received $65,000 in prize money.
