mo0N on magic: “We’re very confident right now, since we exceeded all expectations last season.”
In an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, magic’s sniper Abdurakhim “mo0N” Isa assessed his team’s current form and its results from the previous season, and shared the team’s goals for the next six months.
On magic’s results in the first half of 2026
Last season ended on a high note for us. To be honest, we didn’t expect to consistently make the playoffs, but in the end we finished 4th at PGL Astana 2026 and reached the finals of Stake Ranked Episode 2, where we lost to NIP due to a lack of experience. It was a really good season for us.
On the team’s form
A lot is changing within the team. Right now, we’re very confident because we exceeded all expectations last season. Our team is stronger than many others. We just need to stick to our game plan and win our upcoming matches.
On goals for the new season
It’s important for us to secure a high ranking in the VRS and earn an invite to the PGL Singapore Major 2026. Lately, we’ve been sleeping very little and training a lot. Our team needs to continue participating in Tier 1 tournaments, such as the EWC, and deliver solid results there.
Earlier, magic lost to 3DMAX 1-2 during the online stage of the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. The team finished the tournament in 17th–32nd place and received $7,500 in prize money. The next Tier 1 tournament for mo0N will be the Esports World Cup 2026, which will take place August 12–23 in Paris.
