n0te on adapting to the Ninjas in Pyjamas roster in CS2: “I feel very comfortable right now.”

Ninjas in Pyjamas rifler Roman “n0te” Hamze shared his thoughts in an interview on Stake Ranked Episode 3 following the victory over K27, and also spoke about his new roles and the team’s system.
On the victory over K27
We got off to a slow start on both maps, but we still managed to win. A 2-0 victory is definitely something to celebrate. In the past, when we’d drop the first few rounds, we often couldn’t get back into the game. It’s nice to know that things turned out differently this time.
On my new roles
When I was just starting out in CS, these were the roles I wanted to play. However, I always ended up playing other positions. Now I feel very comfortable. Of course, I still have some roles to get used to, but I already feel that sooner or later I’ll be able to be as helpful as possible to my team.
On the Ninjas in Pyjamas system
Xizt and Snappi have done a great job helping me get used to their system. Let me put it this way—there’s a lot more freedom here than the community thinks. I used to think I’d have to memorize a hundred rounds and then constantly repeat the same actions. However, everyone here has room to make their own plays, especially in the middle of rounds. I enjoy playing in this system.
Earlier, Ninjas in Pyjamas defeated K27 in their first match at Stake Ranked Episode 3 with a 2-0 series win on the maps (13–8 on Ancient and 13–8 on Nuke), advancing to the upper bracket semifinals of the tournament.
