In an interview at the iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m’s Mythical LAN 2026, Team Liquid players discussed the team’s prospects, praised Georgi “Jorko” Mitev, and compared the approaches of Johnny “JT” Theodosiou and Kamil “siuhy” Škaradek to the role of captain.
Jonathan “EliGE” Yablonowski stated that the victory at the iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m’s Mythical LAN 2026 is just the beginning of Team Liquid’s journey:
“This is just the beginning for us. I think we have a bright future ahead of us, especially with our teammate Jorko. I’m very proud of the guys. I think we’ve significantly improved our gameplay recently.”
For his part, Kit “NAF” Markovic praised the team’s new player, Georgi “Jorko” Mitev:
Georgi is certainly a young and inexperienced player. In recent years, there’s been an interesting trend on the team: either our marksman was also the captain, or that role was filled by a player without much experience.
In addition, NAF spoke about the issues within the team when siuhy held the IGL position:
In our current roster, we share a similar mindset; we all see eye to eye on how Counter-Strike should be played. JT keeps things under control and manages how EliGE and the rest of the team interact with one another. ...> When siuhy was captain, I didn’t always understand his calls. It was a strange feeling: one teammate was constantly trying to convince another of exactly how to play.
Earlier, Team Liquid won the iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m’s Mythical LAN 2026, defeating Wildcard 2–0 in the grand final. For the victory, the team received $12,500 in prize money and 116 VRS points, which moved them up to 16th place in the Valve rankings.
