The esports organization Nemiga Gaming announced that it has moved rifler Maxim “sowalio” Beketov to the bench of its Counter-Strike 2 team. His spot on the active roster has been taken by Kirill “Xant3r” Kononov. The club announced this on its Telegram channel.

Changes to the Counter-Strike starting lineup

Maxim “sowalio” Beketov is being moved to the bench and is open to transfer offers.

“We could always count on Max: he carried out all his duties attentively and responsibly, supported his teammates, and often saved lost rounds. However, in order to move forward, both the team and the player himself needed a fresh start. Consequently, at this stage, our paths with sowalio are parting ways.”

“Back home,” said Kirill, and we can’t help but agree with him: Xant3r is back with us!

We’ll keep working hard—we’ll do everything we can so you can enjoy every game.
