Representatives of the esports organization paiN Gaming announced on their official page on social media platform X that Lucas “nqz” Soares, who had previously been on the bench, has left the club.

After two and a half years in our jersey, it’s time to say goodbye to nqz.

Thank you for your incredible dedication, the trophies you’ve won, and every moment you defended our colors. We’re proud to have walked this path together. Your leadership on the server, your outstanding performances in key matches, and your immense contribution to our historic run to the world’s top 4 will forever remain in the club’s history.

We wish you the best of luck in the next stage of your career. The doors at paiN will always be open to you.

In early April of this year, Lucas “nqz” Soares withdrew from tournaments and temporarily put his career on hold. That same month, paiN Gaming signed Rafael “saffee” Costa to its main CS2 roster, making him the team’s new sniper.
