Team Yandex support Arman “Malady” Orazbaev explained in an interview at PGL Wallachia Season 9 why he bought a Dagon for his Witch Doctor, and also spoke bluntly about the level of the teams at the tournament and the upcoming match against Aurora Gaming.
On Dagon on Witch Doctor
Yesterday I played Dazzle, bought a Dagon, and thought, “Damn, what a terrible item. Never buy it.” But then I decided it would be funny in this game to buy a Dagon and cast Maledict, followed by Dagon.
As for Witch Doctor, I don’t think the hero was underestimated. If you look at the stats, he has—what is it—seven wins and twenty losses? So I’m trying to at least even out his stats a little bit so he can get ten wins.

On the series against Aurora Gaming
