Team Yandex has advanced to the grand final of PGL Wallachia Season 9

Team Yandex defeated LGD Gaming 2-0 in the upper bracket final of the PGL Wallachia Season 9 playoffs.

Team Yandex dominated both maps: the first ended with a score of 36–14 in 44 minutes, and the second with a score of 48–29 in 53 minutes. In the second game, Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf played Huskar with a KDA of 16/6/13.

Thanks to this victory, Team Yandex advanced to the championship grand final, while LGD Gaming dropped to the lower bracket. In the losers’ final, the team will face the winner of the Xtreme Gaming vs. Natus Vincere match.

For Team Yandex, this is their first grand final since June 2026—when the team won BLAST SLAM VII. Previously, Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov’s team finished in 3rd place at the Esports World Cup 2026 and The International 2026.
