Tournament operator PGL has published the format for its fifth LAN event in 2027. The official announcement was made on the tournament operator’s website.
It has been confirmed that the championship will take place from September 2 to 12 in a LAN format in an undisclosed country within the Schengen Area. Sixteen teams will participate in the tournament—14 of them will be invited based on their positions in Valve’s global rankings, while the remaining two spots will be determined through online qualifiers. The event’s prize pool will total $1,000,000, of which $280,000 will go to the champion.
It’s worth noting that each team in the top 5 of the VRS rankings that agrees to participate in this tournament will receive a $80,000 bonus for participating.
