Analyst Finn “Mischief” Farrer has shared an updated forecast on the chances of Asian teams qualifying for the PGL Major Singapore 2026. The post was published on the analyst’s personal page on the social network X.
According to Mischief’s forecast, if TYLOO loses three matches at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, their chances of qualifying for the Major will be 6.8%, while The MongolZ’s chances will be 23.5%. If TYLOO finishes the tournament with a 1-3 record, their probability of qualifying will rise to 83.8%. For The MongolZ, a similar result would leave their chances of receiving an invite at 58.1%. Farrell noted that both teams could lose ground due to the large number of available LAN points in the Asian region, which competitors continue to accumulate at open tournaments.
The analyst also highlighted the improved odds for Chinggis Warriors following the announcement of the MESA Pro Series Fall 2026. In his assessment, finishing in the top 2 at one of the two tournaments—the VOID Autumn Cup 2026 or the MESA Pro Series Fall 2026—would give the team a greater than 50% chance of qualifying, depending on the results of TYLOO and The MongolZ. At the same time, 5star eSports could also improve its standing through performances at the MESA Pro Series Fall 2026 and the Moscow Cyber Games 2026.
Mischief also highlighted Lynn Vision Gaming’s situation. To qualify for the Major, the team must perform well at ECL Season 52: AS Cup #3, the VOID Autumn Cup 2026, and HyperX Retake.
Earlier, analyst Jesper “Udknud” Larsen pointed out a loophole in the VRS regulations that could strip Team Vitality captain Dan “apEX” Madeskler of his stickers from the PGL Major Singapore 2026. Before the invites are issued, the team has one tournament left—PGL Masters Bucharest 2026—where Justinas “jL” Lekavičius will play in place of apEX. Five or more matches with jL on the roster will result in the Lithuanian taking apEX’s spot on the roster that receives the invitation to the Major.
