PR on MOUZ: “We’re still not perfect, but we’ve gotten a lot better. I think everyone can see that.”
MOUZ rifler Oldrich “PR” Novi spoke in an interview at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 about preparations for the quarterfinals against Aurora Gaming, chemistry with his teammates, and his personal progress.
On the victory over Aurora Gaming
I’d say we didn’t do anything special. We just prepared for the match as usual, and it worked out. Everyone did a really good job. We had good ideas, we chose the right moments to execute them, and everything worked out. When everything clicks for everyone, you just feel that chemistry between the players. Everyone is in the flow, in their zone. Everyone has ideas, and everyone communicates. It’s easy to play under those conditions.
On the chemistry with Spinx
Ever since I took on my current role, I’ve had to figure out for myself exactly what I want to do and how I want to play. We also needed to reach a common understanding with the teammates we play alongside in certain positions. Obviously, that takes time. We’re still not perfect, but we’ve gotten much better. I think everyone can see that. I can feel the changes myself, so I’m very pleased. I feel like we’re making progress, and I’m really happy about it.
On personal progress
You just have to work hard and get better. Try to improve, review matches, and hone your skills in your role.
Earlier, MOUZ defeated Aurora Gaming 2–0 in the quarterfinals of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. Today, Oldřich “PR” Nový’s team will face FURIA in the tournament’s semifinals.
