r1nkle: “Last year was pretty tough for me.”

G2 Esports’ new sniper, Artem “r1nkle” Moroz, spoke in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 about the challenges he faced last year and described the process of adapting to his new team.
On the challenges
Last year was pretty tough for me; I wasn’t really enjoying the game, but I started 2026 on a positive note. I put in a lot of time, worked as hard as I could, and now everything is going well.
On the move to G2 Esports
I can’t say I expected this. But, of course, I’m happy.
On adapting to the team
Right now I’m settling in with the team, so it’s hard to expect anything incredible from myself just yet. Of course, I need time to get used to things, but I already feel like the adjustment is going well. We’re at boot camp right now. ...> I’m trying to learn as quickly as possible and get on the same page with the guys. I’m really enjoying everything—I couldn’t ask for more. The hardest part, I’d say, is that on each map you have to keep a lot of information in your head; sometimes it’s too hard to listen and do things right at the same time. But there’s nothing I can do about it—I just have to get used to the calls. But this was to be expected, so I’m not getting discouraged.
Earlier, G2 Esports defeated Nemiga Gaming in a match at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. The team led by Nemanya “huNter-” Kovac defeated the Belarusian squad 2–1 in maps: 9–13 on Anubis, 13–8 on Mirage, and 13–8 on Ancient.
