ropz, arT, jL, and n1ssim shared their thoughts ahead of the Team Vitality vs. Legacy match at BLAST Open Porto 2026
Team Vitality rifler Robin “ropz” Kohl, Legacy captain Andrei “arT” Piovese, Team Vitality stand-in Justinas “jL” Lekavičius, and Legacy rifler Vinícius “n1ssim” Pereira shared their expectations for the upcoming match in an interview at BLAST Open Porto 2026.
ropz explained what Team Vitality had been working on ahead of the match:
What we’re trying to work on—and this isn’t specific to Legacy—is making our fundamentals as strong as possible. I think this is one of the areas where we’ve seen that we can improve. It’s just basic communication—saying that extra word at every moment and making sure all the “ifs” are accounted for: if this happens, we react like this. We just need to play proper CS—I think that’s what Team Vitality is really known for. We play very clean CS, and perhaps lately it’s been too clean.
arT highlighted the individual strength of Team Vitality’s players and the importance of minimizing mistakes:
It’s going to be a tough match, and yeah, there’s nothing more to add. They play more aggressively, play more freely, and they also have a few standouts who can play CS—aggressive CS—very well. At the same time, Zayu and Flames can be very precise individually and simply make the difference—ropz too. It all comes down to who can play CS better and make fewer mistakes.
jL stated that what matters most to him is the team’s victory and making it to the playoffs:
I just want to win; I don’t care about my individual performance. I think that no matter how I play, winning always comes first, and I just want to make it to the playoffs—and once we’re in the playoffs, we’ll take it one game at a time. So yes, we have Legacy ahead of us. I mean, they beat Natus Vincere, they beat Team Falcons—they’ve beaten so many teams. There are a lot of things to watch out for, but I think we’re ready.
n1ssim noted that Team Vitality’s lack of a full roster could affect the match:
Our match against Vitality is always tough, but I think when you look at their last win, it’s not really a bad thing for them, because they’re a very good team—anyone can have an off day. So, I think we’re going into today’s game with a lot of confidence, and Vitality isn’t at full strength—they have jL—so we’re hoping for a win.
Right now, Team Vitality is facing off against Legacy in the lower bracket semifinals of Group B at the BLAST Open Porto 2026. The losing team will be eliminated from the tournament, while the winner will face FUT Esports tomorrow for a spot in the tournament’s playoffs.
