Spinx: “For a lurker, the more aggressive your team is, the easier your role can sometimes be.”
MOUZ rifler Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, in an interview at BLAST Open Porto 2026, assessed the upcoming match against Inner Circle and discussed his role on the team.
On Inner Circle
We’re not underestimating Inner Circle. They beat Team Vitality a couple of days ago, and I think they’re on a really good winning streak right now. It seems like they have about ten wins in a row or something like that. Even if those aren’t matches against top-tier teams, winning ten games in a row in Counter-Strike isn’t easy. That’s why we’re not underestimating them. We believe we’re the better team, and if we show that in the game—if we play the way we expect to—we’ll win. But still, this is Counter-Strike. They’re playing very well and are in really great form right now. So we’ll have to prove ourselves.
On his role at MOUZ
We have an aggressive team. We also continue to tweak small details from time to time, but I truly believe that for a lurker, the more aggressive your team is, the easier your role can sometimes be. But at the same time, you can’t be passive all the time, and no one is going to play aggressively all the time. You need a balance here.
On the team’s form
Everyone is doing a really good job. Everyone is working very hard. Some of us have started going to the gym, while others have started focusing more on the game. And in general—in every aspect, from nutrition to everything else—we’re simply trying our best in every way to be better than we were yesterday. It doesn’t always work out. Sometimes we’ll still lose, but right now, I think we’re in a good position. Of course, you can’t win every game.
Earlier, MOUZ defeated 9z Team 2-0 in their debut match at BLAST Open Porto 2026. Right now, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi’s team is battling Inner Circle for a spot in the tournament’s playoffs.
