Team Spirit advanced to the BLAST Open Porto 2026 playoffs, while G2 Esports dropped to the lower bracket
Team Spirit defeated G2 Esports in the upper bracket of the BLAST Open Porto 2026 group stage.
The match began on Dust2, where the “Dragons” managed to take the lead in the series (13–6). On the decisive map, Cache, Boris “magixx” Vorobyov’s team once again proved stronger than their opponent, securing a 13–9 victory.
As a result, Team Spirit advanced to the playoffs at BLAST Open Porto 2026, while G2 Esports dropped to the lower bracket of the tournament.
BLAST Open Porto 2026 runs from August 26 to September 6. The group stage of the tournament is being played in Copenhagen, while the playoffs will take place in Porto at the Super Bock Arena. Sixteen teams are competing for a $1,100,000 prize pool at the tournament.
