Team Spirit and FURIA have advanced to the playoffs of the IEM Cologne Major 2026

Team Spirit defeated 9z Team, while FURIA proved stronger than BetBoom Team in the third stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.

Team Spirit and 9z Team faced off in the first match. Boris “magixx” Vorobyov’s team lost the first map, Overpass, 12-16, but then won the next map, Mirage, 16-3. On the decisive Dust2, the “Dragons” once again proved stronger than their opponents and secured the series (16-14). In a parallel match, FURIA defeated BetBoom Team with a score of 2-0 (13-6 on Overpass and 13-6 on Dust2).

Thus, Team Spirit and FURIA advanced to the playoffs of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while 9z Team and BetBoom Team dropped to the 2:1 bracket.

The IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to 21 in Cologne, Germany. The tournament features 32 teams, which will determine the 8 playoff participants based on the results of the three initial stages. The total prize pool for the championship is $1,250,000.
