Team Vitality published an official statement on X regarding the attack on its Paris headquarters, V.Hive. The club detailed the aftermath of the vandalism and the future of the facility.
Today, our club’s premises were ransacked amid the October 17 protests. Fortunately, none of our staff or fans were harmed. However, our display cases were smashed, and trophies and computer equipment were stolen. Until we can assess the full extent of the damage, V.Hive will remain closed. We will provide more details later. Please stay safe.
Team Vitality did not specify exactly which trophies were missing. More than ten esports organizations have expressed their support for the club following the raid.
On the evening of October 17, Team Vitality co-founder and CEO Fabien “Neo” Davidé commented on the incident. He noted that since V.Hive opened, the cost per hour of play has been €3.50 and the club has never raised its prices, and he condemned the looting and destruction.
