Magistor: “Team Spirit is a cut above Team Yandex.”
Aurevia Team jungler Eduard “Magistor” Rukosuev spoke in an interview on Danila “Wizer” Schneider’s Twitch channel about the victory over Team Yandex at the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8, and also shared his thoughts on settling into the team.
On the victory over Team Yandex
It all comes down to the praks. We played against Team Spirit constantly. And that’s basically the whole reason. I mean, you realize you can’t make any unnecessary strays because you’ll get punished. And it paid off. Team Spirit is a cut above Team Yandex—if I may put it that bluntly.
On playing for Aurevia Team
It’s fun to play, and it’s cool. As for adapting: I’m still a long way from where I want to be. But otherwise, I’ve gotten into pretty good form. Better than the first two weeks, relatively speaking.
On Qualifying for the M8 World Championship
Honestly, considering how much effort we put in, and considering the help from Team Spirit—who’ve been setting up practice matches for us these past few weeks—it was totally expected. We went in confident that we’d take down Team Yandex. That’s all.
In the upper bracket semifinals of the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8, Aurevia Team defeated Team Yandex 3–0 but later lost to Team Spirit in the battle for a spot in the grand final.
Team Yandex, Aurevia Team, and Team Spirit made up the top three teams at the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8—all three teams will compete in the upcoming M8 World Championship.
