Tech Girl on Twistzz and frozen: “They’re too good to play for a team full of Tier 2 players.”

Analyst Sam “Tech Girl” Wright discussed the excitement of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 on the B Site Baddies podcast, assessed FaZe Clan’s decision to bench Helvius “broky” Saukant to the bench, and shared her thoughts on the American club’s current roster.
About the IEM Cologne Major 2026
The recent Major was one of the best tournaments in Counter-Strike history. Starting with the quarterfinals, every match was absolutely insane. All the teams played at their absolute best—we got to see plenty of overtime matches and third maps. Of course, it’s a shame that the final wasn’t very exciting, but the other matches more than made up for it with their spectacle. I don’t think we’ll see anything like this again for a long time.
On broky’s demotion to FaZe Clan’s bench
I don’t think FaZe Clan solved its problems by benching broky. In recent months, he’s received way more hate than he deserved. broky wasn’t nearly as bad a sniper as the community claimed. Remember—not long ago, everyone was criticizing karrigan for his poor play, but he went on to become a Major champion as part of Team Falcons.
On the team’s updated roster
I’m really worried about Twistzz and frozen. They’re too good to play for a team full of Tier 2 players. Stars like them should be competing for trophies, but with FaZe Clan’s current roster, that’s simply impossible. In my opinion, the organization should have made a major signing during this transfer window. <...> If FaZe doesn’t demonstrate a willingness to spend big, I don’t think Twistzz and frozen will stick around for long.
